They are fitted with a special bearing housing with built-in ball bearings that support the rotating assembly. This construction allows to achieve the highest reliability even for bigger sizes, while keeping the same constructive simplicity as well as a perfect alignment with the motor which, in this case, is UNELMEC, B5.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lex.jpg\" alt=\"lex\" width=\"500\" height=\"294\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-276\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gugliotta.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/lex.jpg 500w, https:\/\/gugliotta.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/lex-300x176.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The two standard constructions have the stationary parts made of cast iron (ASTM A278 Cl. 250) or stainless steel (ASTM A351 CF8M).<\/p>\n<p>The impeller is always made of bronze or stainless steel, thus improving the corrosion resistance as well as the wear which could be caused by cavitation, while strongly increasing the pump reliability.<\/p>\n<p>All the pumps can be coupled with both 50and 60 Hz motors.<\/p>\n<p>Both LEX and MEX pump series, are single stage liquid ring.<\/p>\n<p>These pumps can also be used as compressors.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"float:right; width:35%; padding-left:20px;\">\n<h4>Where to use it<\/h4>\n<p>They are used to convey air and gas, even with suspended liquid, providing there are no solid parts or dusts.
