Their special design allows the heat to be exchanged with the surrounding environment, thus granting the natural cooling of the outer parts of the pump. The bearing bracket has a line bearing which is lubricated by the fluid, and a grease lubricated roller bearing which supports the residual axial thrust. They are manufactured in nodular cast iron casing and cast iron impeller, the shaft is in carbon steel and the line bearing is in carbon graphite.
Where to use it
Designed to convey diathermic oils up to the max temperature of 350 °C. They do not need any cooling to the sealing device or any auxiliary flushings. When fitted with the proper mechanical seal, they can be used for overheated water up to a temperature of a 170°C.
