Centrifugal air blowers, also known as turbo compressors, are modern flow-through machines designed for the compression of large air and gas volumes. With a continuous monitoring of operating variables, these blowers provide a high operating reliability whilst maintaining high efficiency, that normally is higher than 80% polytropic in the whole operating range (from 40 to 100%+ volumen flow) and 87% for the designed duty point.

Main Characteristics

Our unit packages are state of the art turbo machinery units including a modern control system to maximize reliable operation in a very wide range of duty, ensuring maximal performance and high efficiency, both a the design duty point, as well as over the whole standard 60% capacity control range.

The standard impeller is provided in a fully machined forged aluminum execution, and being the profile of the so-called backward curved vane type, ensures the highest possible allowance of system pressure rise to surge, from the optimal (in terms of efficiency) duty point.

Capacity Control

The capacity control is performed at constant blower speed. The standard Variable Inlet Guide Vanes, and Variable Vane Diffusers included in our units package enhances the advantages of those two well-known flow-regulating systems, to ensure maximal efficiency over the whole regulating spectrum.

The integrated oil lube system, ensures reliable operation during many years, reduced space at the compressor room, making the unit even easier to maintain and ensuring in this way low maintenance cost.
