Two stage liquid ring vacuum pumps series CDS and NP are suitable for high vacuum applications. The only difference between the two series is the bearing bracket that for CDS is compact, being integrated in the pump itself. On both series it is possible to axially adjust the rotor assembly externally, thus perfectly centering it inside the pump and achieving best performance and reliability.

CDS performance, on the basis of conventional parameters, ranges from 20 a 1000 m3/h of dry air at 20°C temperature and a maximum vacuum level of 33 mbar absolute when fed with water at 15°C. For higher capacity NP series is available; they allow to reach 3150 m3/h.

Sizes up to 15 kW (50 Hz) or 18,5 (60 Hz) installed motors are available both in bare-shaft and with lantern executions; bigger sizes are only available bare-shaft.

Standard construction is cast iron with bronze or stainless steel impellers; alternatively, pumps are available completely in stainless steel execution. Special alloys are available upon request.

They are suitable to convey air, gas, vapours, even with suspended liquids. They are used in chemical, food, phermaceutical, textile industries, in paper mills and whenever there is a need to create vaccum on evaporation, drying, polverization, impregnation systems.
