They are normally made in cast iron with impeller made of bronze or stainless steel or completely in AISI 316 stainless steel; upon request, they can be manufactered with other metallurgies. As a standard, they are fitted with mechanical seals, but it is also possible to install a packing gland.
Also available as ATEX Zone 1 eller 2.
Where to use it
They are suitable to convey air, gas, vapours, even with suspended liquids. They are used in chemical, food, phermaceutical, textile industries, in paper mills and whenever there is a need to create vaccum on evaporation, drying, polverization, impregnation systems. They are also used to prime centrifugal pumps.
